Raising the Bar in Groveland, Florida

In 2019, Hanover recognized the growing need for high quality product in more value oriented geographic areas and identified Groveland as an ideal location to ‘raise the bar’ for residential communities in the area. Hanover worked cooperatively with the City of Groveland and nearby residents on a sprawling 413 acre site, with frontage on 3 different lakes to create Trinity Lakes. In addition to dog parks, docks on the lake, and fishing piers for families, Hanover also committed to a $2.5 million amenity complex that included a dramatic resort pool, fitness center, and air-conditioned community spaces.

These ‘place-making’ efforts were critical to attract buyers to a slightly less developed area seeking both affordability and an enhanced quality of life. To support this vision, Hanover focused on fostering a strong foundation for long-term growth, ensuring early residents would enjoy a true sense of community. Phase 1 and 2 included two national homebuilders, along with Trinity Family Builders, who will be active in the community through 2028, bringing a diverse mix of home designs and price points to help establish Trinity Lakes as a thoughtfully planned destination within Groveland.
